Escape Beach Resort - New Look & Improved - Mae Nam

The 'improved' resort is a complete joke. Dirty bathrooms and rude staff. I did expect a complimentary upgrade for my troubles, but apparently that's not a thing here. Oh, and good luck finding a lounger by that packed pool when towels are hogging them. Should've listened to the negative reviews. Just couldn't give it a better rating.

The hotel was in a remote setting on the sand in the early AM or at sunset. The room was a nice size, featured a nice balcony, complementary tea, and ample space.

Good sea, deliciously cooked in a restaurant.

No TV in the room, uncomfortable kettle.

The beachside bungalows were cozy and well-equipped, with a fridge and complimentary refreshments. Breakfast was DELICIOUS with generous portions!

The hotel's location is very secluded. Accessing attractions requires a steep uphill trek which can be challenging, especially without reliable transport.

The bed was very big, the room was stylish and brand-new in a garden terrace.

We had a really amazing stay for one night this time.

View was magnificent, breakfast was varied, and beds were comfortable. Liked the room, it was well-maintained and unique. The location was stunning down a large hill. Plus, it was just off a beautiful beach that needs a touch of update, and other restaurants.

Facilities were severely limited, and to make things worse, the service at the bar was slow and unresponsive. The only lifeline was the pool, overcrowded and lacked proper maintenance.

The pool area offers fine views right by the sea. The staff were genuinely helpful, especially regarding renting scooters to get around. Despite some cleanliness issues in shared spaces, the overall experience was improved with the staff's effort to keep the environment tidy.

The location is quite secluded, making it challenging to access nearby attractions.

It was just a smart choice for a momentary visit in Mae Nam with all in all great value for money. Enjoyed the quiet beachfront while sipping fresh juice every morning. Rent a scooter for more freedom to explore the area.

It was just a suitable option for a city trip in Mae Nam with definitely value for money. Breakfast was decent, and the staff made sure to promptly refill our plates whenever we ran low. Rent a scooter to explore the surrounding areas easily.

The staff were truly kind and incredibly welcoming. the pool was excellent. - They gave us a great modern room with 15 sunbeds. - the decoration was cozy.

The location was great and lovely, with easy access to W Retreat Samui. A supermarket and grocery shop were conveniently located right next door. - the restaurant served delicious European cuisine, and we thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful dishes. - the view of the sea was decent.
